The railway station was crowded with passengers. There were food stalls, tea vendors, and luggage carriers. Announcements were being made, and trains were arriving and departing. The atmosphere was lively and full of excitement. We bought snacks, water bottles, and biscuits while waiting for the train.
Soon, our train arrived, and we boarded it. My seat was near the window, which made me very happy. As the train started moving, I looked outside and enjoyed the view. Trees, houses, and fields seemed to move quickly. I felt excited and curious while watching the beautiful scenery.
During the journey, I met another family sitting opposite us. We started talking and became friends. We played games like ludo and antakshari. We also shared snacks and lunch. The journey became more enjoyable with their company.

After travelling for nearly ten hours, we reached Kathgodam Railway Station. Before arriving, I saw beautiful mountains and greenery from the window. It was a wonderful sight. From Kathgodam, we hired a taxi to reach Nainital.
Nainital is a beautiful hill station surrounded by mountains. The cool weather and scenic beauty made us feel relaxed. We visited Naini Lake, went boating, explored local markets, and enjoyed sightseeing. We stayed there for three days and had a wonderful time.
After our vacation, we returned home by train. The return journey was equally enjoyable. My first train journey was a wonderful experience that I will always remember.
