We at “ Swami Vivekanand International School” wish to align ourselves to the same, by giving you and your child a new horizon in education–an experience that will leave the both of you with a new outlook on life.

On the eve of the launch of the website, I would now share with you some of my thoughts and plans concerning education. My central philosophy concerning education revolve around this famous quote of Hodding Carter :

Students today have an unquenchable thirst to seek knowledge that cannot be satiated by traditional methods of imparting education like rote learning and passive listening. With the paradigm shift in the field of education, children at SVIS will be provided with opportunities and situations that facilitate them to exhibit their hidden potential to the fullest. We not only offer you an infrastructure conforming to the global standards but also an array of opportunities to tap the individual talent to edify the young learners keeping in view a synchronous growth of their body, mind and soul.

Following the dictum by Gandhiji, “Be the change you wish to see”- I have ensured an institution that will enable you and your ward to enroll yourself in my vision.

The group of SVIS schools, at Borivali & Kandivali in the western suburbs of the Mumbai metro, therefore, has the missionary objective of providing to all its students -irrespective of their caste, creed, colour or religion -a unique platform and environment enriched with values drawn from our rich culture and tradition. I believe in spreading the message of brotherhood and peace. We need to recall the lofty ideals and deeds of our mentor-Swami Vivekanand. We also need to remember that our freedom fighters sacrificed their lives to give India its freedom. As a token of our gratitude, we should all work together in tandem to fulfill their dreams.

Let us move ahead together, making this a reality and soaring towards the pinnacle of excellence.
